Remote work is great but flawed — let’s fix it together.
Current Roles 👉
We're a fully distributed team hiring across many roles, even if you don’t see a fit right now, reach out and say hi!
A word from our founders
We started Arro to scratch our own itch.
Craig was hit with Long COVID in 2020. When he recovered, he found it tough trying to get used to remote work. He felt burnt-out, unmotivated and disconnected from his team.
Johannes had experienced the same pain points. He knew remote work was the future but he felt like he was living at work instead of working from home. There had to a better way.
After testing a ton of different approaches, we landed on a shared daily planner and journal — the missing tool that could help us make the most of our time and attention. It’s async by default, it caters to your whole life (not just work) and it helps create that connective layer that’s often missing.
We started working on Arro in the summer of 2021. Craig previously lived in Stockholm while working with Spotify — he’s now based in London with his wife Anne and two kids (Conor and Rowan). Johannes is still living in Stockholm with his wife Nicki, their daughter Adeline and their dog Taro.
We care deeply about what we do, how we work and who we work with. We also wouldn’t swap working remotely for all the complimentary coffee in the world! (and we REALLY like coffee 🙂)
Culture shapes everything.
👷 An owner’s mindset
We don't expect anyone else to pick up the slack, we actively seek out ownership — the success of any company is just the sum of all problems solved.
💬 Tell it like it is
We honour authenticity, both the good and the bad. We celebrate the wins and commiserate around the hard stuff. Honesty is everything.
💙 We respect the craft
We set unreasonably high standards around our product and everything we do to deliver on our brand promise. It hurts us to ship stuff that we're not proud of.
📈 We are supportive strivers
We think that anyone can improve their lives. This is the ultimate super power. By supporting one another, we can be agents for positive behavioural change.
⛔️ No shortcuts
We know that there’s no shortcuts in life. Taking the harder path is usually the right way to go — the easy path can be more costly in the long run.
😁 Love people, use things
Every day we try to enjoy the ride and have fun - we’ll probably remember how others made us feel above everything else. We’re about lasting relationships.
Our stance on diversity, equity and inclusion.
We’re 100% committed to a workplace that always promotes diversity, equity and inclusion.
That means we’re an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
We want to create an environment where everyone, from any background, has the opportunity to do the best work of their lives.
Yes, you can work from anywhere. As a distributed team, we don’t have a HQ. Everyone works remotely in the country that’s the best fit for them. We work with a third party ‘Employer of Record’ to facilitate local payroll compliance.
We aim to respond to potential candidates within 2 weeks. If you’re a fit for one of our open roles, we’ll be in touch to organise a short screening interview.
The entire process is fully remote and all communication will happen over email or via video chat. If you pass the screen you will be invited to up to three follow up interviews. The calls usually take between 20-45 minutes each depending on the interviewer, they are all 1:1 and will be with at least one founder (often both will attend).
We wish that we could speak with every candidate, but we’re a small team and we only have limited resources to interview. If you don’t hear back from us now, please feel free to apply again in the future.
We’re hiring across different positions all the time. If you can’t find an open role right now, please still reach out and say hi! → email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
- We're using the quote block to create the fixed navbar instead of an ID, so it should work out of the box, but that means you can't really use the Notion quote block anywhere else throughout this template. Thinking of better ways to go about this!
- The navbar & footer are global Notion blocks, meaning if you edit the ones on the template home page, it'll carry the changes over to the rest of the site
